Work It Out Lord

Published April 19, 2016 by Eleanor

Philippians 2:12 states “Wherefore my beloved, as ye always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Heavenly Father, I thank you for new mercies that you have given me today, to experience another day. Thank you for life and how much you have blessed me and my family. You have been faithful to me. Lord, I ask you to continue to guide me especially during these final days leading into examinations and deadlines that I have yet to meet. Open my understanding and allow me to overcome these many obstacles. Lord you know how much I am overwhelmed right now by all this work. Help me Jesus to be a better student and to get through this. You have a plan for me but at times I feel so impatient.

If I am too high Lord, bring me down and humble me, your servant. Be a tower of strength to me at this time when I feel very weak and depressed with all that I am going through right now. Lord, allow me to honour and live for you in every way possible. Help me to bring others to come to know you who is life eternal. Help me to daily take up my cross and follow you. Lead me in a plain path unto righteousness. You know all that I need to accomplish, but Lord give me the strength that I need to succeed. To believe that with you all things are possible. I need a divine intervention in my life to go on.

Forgive me of all my frustrations, sins, hurt and pain. I lay them at your feet. Amen.
