Work It Out Lord

Published April 19, 2016 by Eleanor

Philippians 2:12 states “Wherefore my beloved, as ye always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Heavenly Father, I thank you for new mercies that you have given me today, to experience another day. Thank you for life and how much you have blessed me and my family. You have been faithful to me. Lord, I ask you to continue to guide me especially during these final days leading into examinations and deadlines that I have yet to meet. Open my understanding and allow me to overcome these many obstacles. Lord you know how much I am overwhelmed right now by all this work. Help me Jesus to be a better student and to get through this. You have a plan for me but at times I feel so impatient.

If I am too high Lord, bring me down and humble me, your servant. Be a tower of strength to me at this time when I feel very weak and depressed with all that I am going through right now. Lord, allow me to honour and live for you in every way possible. Help me to bring others to come to know you who is life eternal. Help me to daily take up my cross and follow you. Lead me in a plain path unto righteousness. You know all that I need to accomplish, but Lord give me the strength that I need to succeed. To believe that with you all things are possible. I need a divine intervention in my life to go on.

Forgive me of all my frustrations, sins, hurt and pain. I lay them at your feet. Amen.

The Nature of God’s Inspiration

God’s Word is timeless as it reflects the essence of his love and character. After the fall of man, the predestined restoration has always been the ultimate goal of our divine God. His plan and purpose will be fulfilled. The vision will be realized; His call must be recognized and accepted.

When his plan and purpose is fulfilled only then will we have victory. When God speaks there is an undeniable force that maintains stability upon the earth. Despite the odds there are many victorious to be won through Jesus Christ.

I believe when God speaks there is much to be accomplished in this life of ours. If we submit ourselves to God’s ultimate plan, surely we will obtain the gift of salvation.

Its a Beautiful Day to be Alive

Thank God for his new mercies that has kept us alive and well to see and experience another day. Another day to develop our craft and live our hopes and dreams. So shall we find time to give him praise.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23.

Heavenly Father, you have been forever faithful, constantly loving us even when we have failed to give you praise. Help us dear Lord to be faithful to you. Keep us in perfect peace. Forgive us of all unrighteousness for your name sake. Remove everything that is unlike you from around us and give us your divine blessing and protection. Lord you have brought us out of our daily turmoils and for this I give you praise. Thank you for allowing me to use your words to bless someone’s heart. Strengthen me in ways that I am unable to for myself. Put an edge around our family members and bind us together in one accord. Have your own sweet way in our lives and continue to use us mightily.

Let your words be glorified with the forgiveness of sins in your precious and humble name. Amen.

It is good to say “And to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord, and likewise at even:….” – 1 Chronicles 23:30.

Do enjoy this blessed day and may you find peace in the Saviour today!
